Originally a historic north sea fishing trawler, she now stands as one of the most unique vessels on the West Coast. Her journey began in Holland in 1959, where she fished the North Sea until 1984. Later, she was purchased by Greenpeace to champion environmental awareness. In 1997, she underwent a transformation into a 12-passenger West Coast expedition vessel, proudly taking on the new name "The Curve Of Time."

We got to experience so much during our tour of The Gulf Islands! The day we spent at the Galiano Islands was one of the most memorable and best days of my life. The crew was on top of everything and just excellent. They would give us a written schedule of the day's itinerary the day before, including the weather and how to dress and the items we would need to be best prepared for the following day. And review and answer any questions we might have prior to the next day's activity. Very helpful! We also had such an amazing crab dinner that was freshly caught and served, which was one of the best seafood meals I’ve ever eaten. I’ll be back on the Curve Of Time in the following years and thank everyone who made it so memorable.

This was my first group travel and I really enjoyed the trip. The accommodations were great and the food was delicious. What made the experience even greater was the awesome captain Matthew. He was really knowledgeable, fun to be around, and you could tell he’s just so passionate about being on the ocean. One of the moments I’ll never forget is when we spent one of our days out at squirrel cove. It was the most tranquil, peaceful, and beautiful place I’ve ever seen. We had a chance to take out 2 kayaks that were available to us, and we adventured close to the shore on water that was so flat it looked like glass! I recommend this tour to anyone that is looking to explore British Columbia from the water, and I can’t wait to sail the Gulf Islands next year.
